Pass the word!

There will be an exam session for FCC Amateur Radio Licenses (all classes)at WPI on.

Date: Third Thursday of Jan, Apr, Jul and Oct

Time: 6:30pm

Place: WPI, Worcester, MA

Bring: $14 exam fee, two IDs (at least one photo), pen/pencil, basic calculator If you are upgrading an existing license, bring the ORIGINAL and a COPY of any paperwork you are submitting (your existing license, any CSCEs, any proof of license for grandfather purposes, etc.). *** Please e-mail or call for specific directions *** For more information, e-mail n2yhk@wpi.edu or call (508)791-6393.

It is not all that hard to get your amateur radio license. All it takes is a little studying and taking a 35 question test. Pass which I know you will wait until you get your license. Then hitting one of the amateur radio stores getting a radio to go with your new license. All this can be done in as little as a week or you can opt. to take some classes. Our club offers classes in the fall every year. We also offer VE exams every three months at the present time.
